Hah~! Nice KL Trip AfterAll~!

I just came back from my 5 days training. To tell the truth, I thought of saving from my claim later. But as we all know, KL filled with a lot of temptation. I hate to admit it but yeah it's true.

I plan to just sit my ass in my room for 5 days without going to KL or whatsoever. But then I realized that my tab need casing and sticker. So one the 3rd day of my training, I decided to go to Low Yatt to buy casing and sticker. It will cost me around RM500 if I buy it in Miri and only RM90 in Low Yatt.

When I reached KL from Bangi, I call my old friends, just to inform him that I'll be in KLCC for awhile. Somehow, it end up that we decided to meet for a dinner. Since we haven't meet for almost 8 months, it kind of exciting night to catch up stories with them.

The next day, again I went to KLCC. This time meeting my Chinese gang. Same as before, it's quite long didn't meet them so it's really a fun night to hangout with them. Plus I also watched New Spiderman movie at TGV KLCC. Oh I love KL cinema!!

Last day training, I managed to meet my family!! Coincidentally they all at Bangi too. Even tho our meeting is only for 2 hours, but I feel so damn happy where not only that, I also can pass the souvenir that I bought for them from Korea.

I'm wondering when can I meet they all again and have a proper hangout which include karaoke session :P

It's been a super duper awesome 9 days 8 nights trip to Jeju and Seoul! I even can proudly say that I mastered in using Seoul subway train!!!!


I'll be posting about my trip, for each day there in different post. But not now, not tonight at least. Until I settle down everything, then only I will write my awesome journey there! Hope it will help some of you who interested to go there for vacation, honeymoon, wasting your money and . . . . doing plastic surgery? Lol


Can't write a lot tonight, ate too many cake just now. First time in my life I eat cake this much, not even my mom cake I eat that much.

p/s : Hope I won't vomit all those cake in the middle of the night.

Friend . . .

Annyeong~!


I believe there will be a lot of situation when we need to be parted with our beloved friend. The last day, last moment, or last . . . how should I put his, last time to see their face, the memory with them will be played like a movie, which is I hope is not something like The Avengers. All those beautiful words like "don't forget me", "keep in touch", "friends forever" . . . yada yada yada "*fill your own sentence*  . . . will said during those touching moments.

But, how many of us still holding into those words? I'm wondering. I've been facing this a lot, but too bad, not many of it last long. Yeah we do contact, but . . . yeah . . . we keep in touch, but . . erm . . yeah . . . friends forever . . . errr . . . . ok no comment.

Some of you must been wondering what's the point I'm writing all of this. Is it because I'm in fight my old friends? No, so far thank God no. Suddenly I just though of some of them. Friends from primary school, boarding school, secondary school and university. Just feel funny coz you know what? The beauty of this relationship is, the one that never said those words, is the one that always stick with you and contact you, whether you like it or not. LoL

I'm happy with my life. I still contact with my primary school friends, even tho not many of them. Thanks to Facebook, at least I know what they've been up to. I still contact with my boarding school friends, my secondary school friends. In fact, last year I managed to go to my best friend wedding! We're same age and he already build his own life with his beloved wife! How cool is that?! While I'm still stuck finding the purpose of me in this world. Haha

How bout my university friend? The thing that makes me happy is almost all of them went to the same company with me! I've got some working at Kerteh, at Kota Kinabalu, in Miri and most of them at Kuala Lumpur. You can say it cover all over Malaysia! (well, at least the places where I will most probably go for a meeting).

Now I've been busy making up new friends in Miri. I tried to know more people, if can, not from my own university. Because people from my university, kind of have their pattern that I can recognized. How to explain this, something like "aah, must be from UTP" or "definitely UTP guy" or "please don't tell me we're same university, oh shit we are!". It's fine it's cool but you can say a lil bit boring. LoL

I don't even know what the heck am I typing for the past 20 minutes. I suddenly feel I want to update my blog, and suddenly this topic come to my mind. The weird part of becoming a human I guess? Duh!

I will, and hopefully will, or in fact, MUST! I mean, I will go to South Korea in the next 2 weeks. I hope my boss approve my leave, and I will have enough money to shopping there before that. Must save a lot from this month salary, spend all there and come back like a boss . . . and live like a homeless guy before next month salary. Hahahaha!

I think my bosses all has given up on me, to discuss bout serious matter. Maybe they bring me into the meeting room as a clown to cheer to mood? I don't know, I just feel like that . . .


Oh heck . . . I'm gaining lot of people trust. Meets lot of wonderful people. Work still on my table. They still send me for engagement with client. Still can hangout with the person that I like.

So I guess I'm on the right track afterall?


OK seriously I have no idea what the hell I'm writing about . . . I just feel want to update my blog. Sorry I can't write more awesome thing, or with better English or grammar.

It's been quite awhile since I last update my blog. Well, what to do. When you become a super hot stuff, everyone want a piece of you . . . and also a piece of your money muahahah~!

I seriously got lot of things I want to complaint here!That guy, that girl, that auntie, that pakcik . . erghhhhh . .

Ok, enough with bullshitting time, share with you story bout me . .

Last time, during our GM farewell, me and my buddies here prepared him a special performance where we all act as a television host and hosted a funny show for him. At least we would like to send him with a good funny memory of SKO.

Recently, while promoting PETRONAS Miri Games 2012, me and again the same buddy of mine, kind of run out of idea on how to make a good soft launching for the event. After few serious discussion (which lasted for only 5 minutes), we decided not to show our face during the opening, but make it like radio live presentation.

Shoes~! I didn't know how important your role is

Annyeong~!


Today, I bought my self shoes. It is a shoe for work, formal shoe in other word. Or in other other word, it is a shoe that look cool when u wear it with slack pant but weird with jeans or way weird with short pant. Ok, whatever it is, it just a working shoe, damn it!!! (Ok, swinging mood suddenly, wth).

So, back to the story, why I'm buying a new shoe today? It is because, my freakin old shoe already . . . . damage? Is that a correct word? Hahahahaha! Summary : I'm wearing a torn shoes for the past 2 days!! First day I realized it got sole, I'm using my colleague elephant glue (gam gajah . . wtf? hahaha) to put back the sole together. Second day, another hole appear which makes me think, "I work with good payment given to me, and I can't even afford a nice shoe?! Executive wearing thorn shoe?! WTF?!!!"


After work, I straight went to mall to buy a new shoe. I just realized, through out my life, all my black shoes is a Bata brand. Bata is good, I mean, for those who wanted a nice shoes with affordable price. But in term of robustness, the longest it can be in its perfect shape is like four or five months. After consulting few friends (including those who think RM300 is the cheapest price for them, damn), having my self trying few brands, in the end I choose . . .








It is my first time buying other than Bata, and it is my first time buying this kind of style with extra space on the front part that make it look sharp. Ok I still new in this kind of "shoe" thing, not sure the term or what but will learn it, by buying more shoe in the future! Hahaha~!

So here 2012, what now?

Annyeong~!


A long awaited 2012 already arrived, safe and sound. World still not at the end as what Mayan people predicted, oxygen still around (since I can still breath), Facebook still online, my money still flow like water, the black dog out there still guarding my house gate, so it is still same as 2011.


What make it different is how my self will act, do and response to whatever that will happen and might happen this year.


People talk bout resolution. Honestly this thing not really worked for me. I'm not saying that it is not a good to have resolution, it just, when it comes to me, most likely will become empty bubble talk. But I still want to say that one of my resolution is to learn Korean language as much as I can before my awesome-to-be trip there this midyear.


Oh, I think it is time for a relationship too. Living alone is kind of sucks now. I know my soul mate is out there somewhere (Ok I just copy what Ted always said in How I Meet Your Mother). Well, I don't really mind being single but I think might be great if you have someone that you can share your stuff and love and . . . OK lets change topic, suddenly word "love" popup from nowhere make me feel like "euwww" haha.


So first two days of 2012, what did I do? I spent most of my time in my own dreamland. I started to read a new novel, by Conn Iggulden - Emperor The Gates Of Rome. So far for the first 100 pages that I already read, I really enjoyed the storyline. This novel is recommended by my beautiful friend Syadia. Usually when people recommend me something to read, if it is not from Dan Brown, I'll just say no to it. But since the way she express the excitement of reading this novel kind of attract me (she said she delayed her FYP just to read this), I decided to read this. Lets hope that I can finish read by this month.


Exactly 8 hours from now, I'll start my first day of work in 2012. This month a lot of new tasks waiting for me to execute. I seriously hope I can maintain my focus and complete everything smoothly :)

Bye Bye 2011

Annyeong~!


I think now is a good time for me to wrap up on what I have been doing and happened to me for the past 1 year. 2011 has been a very good, awesome yet a little bit regrettable year for me. Too many things happened this year. Things that mark the change of level of journey in my life.


I still remember, leaving UTP on 1st of January 2011. Yes, I'm proud to choose that date to leave my beloved university because I know for the rest of my life, I will remember the date I leave my university :)

After that, I started my life as unemployed guy, waiting for job offer to come. It is quite a fun period to me, well, I managed to spent more time with my family. Since I started my study, the longest I spent time with my family is around 2 months. And this time, we have 5 months! Living in Kelantan where I don't really have friend there, just some (can calculate using fingers from one hand), I spent almost all of the time staying at home and become my mom's best buddy. What I meant by staying at home is, really stay at home. I remember I really hangout one time, and it is a half day hangout where my friend visit me and in the same time having his vacation at Kota Bharu.


Somewhere around January or February, I went to a trip with my buddies to Kota Kinabalu. Just for your info, I lived at Kota Kinabalu for about 8 years before my family moved to Kelantan. So this will be my first visit after 2 years and half leaving that beautiful city. My buddies expectation is to explore the city while in my head that time is just hoping to meet some old friend and to catch up. Even tho I didn't managed to meet most of them, but I do meet my best friend Haizold.

Staying at home is kind of heaven to me. Of course, having mom's  cook everyday, sleeping without any worries that I might late for class and keeping long hair without care whether security will summon me. But, the longer I stay there, the more I feel my self useless. Since I saw how hard my father's working days and night to support my family, I just spent my time in room chatting with my friend who already starter their work.

This is the only time I can grow my hair this long T_T

I think God knows what best for me. He didn't simply make me stay at home 5 months for nothing. Around May, I got my job offer from PETRONAS. I joined PIPE on 1st June 2011. And that answer the question why after 5 months only I got the offer. Because the PIPE that I joined, PIPE-77 is indeed a super awesome PIPE!!! We have awesome people there, hot stuff (ok I admit I try to mentioned Sofia here, what? she's hot okie, at least for me XP), won Mega Challenge (Syad, Abang Azri thx thx thx a lot for the info), having movie and bowling together, have a cool farewell montage, fashion show and sketch and much more!!

15th June 2011, I reached Miri, Sarawak, where this place will be my working place, my life for the next, I don't know how many years. Still remember, I'm wearing a broken shoe with so-damn-much-damages on the first day here. I thought no one will know, at least until I buy a new one that night. But one of my colleague managed to catch a glimpse of my shoe. Damn you Zuhadi, what an eye you have there haha. This is the mark of my whole new life as an employee, not unemployed guy.

To tell you the truth, I experienced a lot of new thing here. I remember on 17th of June 2011, my first department meeting. My senior manager ask me to sing infront of members of the floor. To tell your guys, my department meeting room is a small room where can fit around 30 people (by right) in one time. But the meeting is attended by around 50 - 60 people. So imagine, everyone cramp inside, only left front space for screen projector. I'm standing there performed one of  hits song created by my PIPE mates. Thank God everyone giving a supportive applause (where in the end I realized they just want me to end my "weird" song). It's not like I cannot sing. It just, it is my first time sing infront of many people (the best I have during karaoke session is around 7 people).


My first task is to become head of Visual Management (VM) team. I know it sounds cool but honestly the job is to make your office more . . . pretty? Beautiful? Organize? I can't find exact word to explain that, but more like "AJK Keceriaan" during our school time. They told me my department score a last place among all department in 2010. So they expect me to at least try not to get last place again for this year. I never lead this kind of thing before. I admit my event in university before managed to bring Estranged, BunkFace, The Times, you name it. But this kind of thing? "Keceriaan" supposed to be girls thing since they are as we all know better when it come to this. Well, it is a job given by boss  after all.  I can just say "yes" since I received salary now. Who knows? After done giving my office a whole new look (thanks for all the support and help given by my best team!!), we actually won a second place for the VM audit this year!! Not only second, our mark also entitled us to received Gold status!!

Around August is a time for fasting month. I can't remember when is the last time I fasting in Borneo. It should be in year 2005. Again, for your info, break fast time here is one hour earlier compared to Semenanjung. Even tho I can eat early compared to my friend at KL, but it is kind of lonely because I don't really have lot of friend that time so most of time I end up buying the food and eat a lone at home :(

In the middle of the month, I remember that our company has the staff engagement where my department turn to host it. My boss assigned me to become MC for the event. I never become MC before and seriously I don't want to do it because of too-western-malayetern-watevertern-slang-pronouncation that I have. Not only that, I also have been instructed to create a super cool montage to introduce the member of our department. Well, the event went well, maybe a little bit freeze during my MC part, thanks a lot to my quite-profesional-co-MC Ms. Shira. I also did well for my montage! My General Manager really like it. My montage is based on Harry Potter theme where everyone is dressed up (photoshop actually) as Hogwarts student. I really hope I can share the montage here but I don't think my office will like it for me to post it on youtube. Lol.

I'm nervous that time, seriously. But Shira? So damn calm. Damn it.

Come raya at the end of August, I returned back to village as a working guy. Seriously the expectation there change 180 degrees! My cousin eye all filled up with the aura of "open table dude, your working now" and "we expect duit raya from you this time!". I'm having a lot of fun this raya, especially with my new nephew :) Oh by the way, it is also a first time for me to be celebrated at restaurant for my birthday!!

October is the time for my convocation. It is the time that I meet all of my old friend after we separate for almost a year. Thank God all of us working now, so no awkward moment when we all sharing story about our work and company. We having a super cool photo shoot with our graduation robe and everyone successfully received their graduation scroll without any disgrace moment happen when we walk to the stage.

After my convocation, another big task is waiting for me on October, which is to conduct a team building for my department. With limited budget and time constraint, somehow Zuhadi team (I'm in the team, not a team leader) managed to conduct our department team building. One thing I like about is our dinner where the team is Rock 'N' Roll. To tell you, my department people really know how to follow the theme and to make the night went wild!

Rock N Roll babeh~! And seriously stop ask me who is this girl. Just find her FB k? :)

On November, my probation period end. My boss allowed me to pass the period and making me a permanent staff. I still remember how happy I am that day, hearing all the good compliment from him. I don't know he mean it or not but what I know, I pass my probation period!! Now waiting for KL to sent me the confirmation letter.

 

I conquered Gua Niah already~!

On December, I have been selected as one of the team member to give final performance for our beloved General Manager who will be transfer to Egypt. A fact, my department is very famous for our sketch performance. With a superb director Mr. Aman, all the play received high compliments. This time, Aman put me as one of the actor. Damn it! I never act before and now to act in our GM farewell event? Not only that, as one of main actor?!! But after giving a thought, than I decided to join as if not know, then when? Right? Somehow the act went well and our GM really pleased with our performance :)

After 10 months, I returned back to Kota Kinabalu for my best friend, Haizold's wedding!! Oh my God! He already married and I'm still playing with Lego? Oh man. But still I enjoy this trip a lot, Kota Kinabalu has just turned from cool to super-good-damn-awesome place!!!

Actually there are more things that I wanted to share but I think some of it is better to keep it just for my self. New year is approaching and honestly no resolution made yet for it. I plan to just live again for next 1 year with out any resolution, just do what I want to do and avoid what I want to avoid.

Lego LeLego LegoMego~!

It's been a long time since I write a long post! Warghh!! Working life is killin' me!! Ok I enjoy working, but sometime I do miss the old time where I can write 10 post in 1 day! How freakin crazy is that?!! Well, not really crazy but 10 post in a day sure means something tho hahaha.


Somewhere in 2009, I wrote a post about Lego. I still remember, it is my first time hangout as an internship student, thanks to my i'm-not-sure-he-still-my-friend-now Duke. He brought us to KLCC, and that time they are having Lego roadshow? I don't know what we called it but the you know the open spot inside KLCC, yeah it full with Lego!! (search the post by yourself, I lazy to put link here)


So~!

Before that, commercial break. Just want to show card for the gift that we bought for this one kid for Christmas.

Last 3 weeks, I have my self a Lego~!!! I know Lego is expensive, no its not, it is DAMN expensive!! But since now I work, I think I can afford a Lego for myself. So, after search for it (surprisingly it's easy to find Lego here!), my friend Shira bring me to this shop called Toys World (which our original intention went there is to buy Monopoly for our gang little game time). After checking, surveying, discussing, ying ying ying around, I came with conclusion that Lego is still DAMN expensive! OMG! Even I can afford it, but it still feel expensive to me! Damn ~!


So, I cancel the plan to buy it on that time. Before we leave the shop, we saw this ads where they paste outside their shop. "Merry Christmas bla bla bla thanks our customer bla bla bla discount 50% bla bla bla Sunday bla bla bla thank you bla bla . . " . . . . . . .



"huh? 50%?!!!".



The shop is having a big sale for Christmas where first 100 customers on that particulate sales day will get 50% discount for whatever product they purchase! And long story short, after having also a few discussions with friend, and my own self, with my imaginary friend who look just like me, I decided to go buy Lego on that sales day.

On that day, I somehow woke up early. Why? Because I kept dreaming that I already in the shop and purchase it. I went there around 9am, because I thought going at 8.30am is a little bit too early since the shop open at 10.30am. Well, here it goes . . .

God knows how long this freakin Q~~!!

 Then suddenly come this thing where I don't what is this, what is this?

It look . . . ok whatever I guess kids must like it.

Wat the hello? A lot of people weyh. I mean, a LOT! I don't even know how many people there, and not too mentioned there is no proper line up, everyone simply gather there, with, well, not to really line up there. Some of them bring kids, friends, even baby! Why? Because one person can buy one item only, so to get more, you need to bring more army.



Long story short (again), at 10.30am sharp, the shop open. Know what? It is very SCARY!!! Everyone just rushed into the shop, and I don't want to mentioned those who bring baby there. Seriously, please don't do that again. When everyone rush there, they don't care of anything. Even those who look like 30 or 40 just rush there, without even care either person beside them is holding baby or not. Please for those who will be having this kind of line-up-wait-till-shop-open-so-I-can-be-first-one-to-buy-this-thing please don't bring baby or kids with you. It's not cool at all to have your child hurt for this kind of thing. Come on, Christmas is happy time for them, not for them to spent time at hospital (same reminder for those who let their kids playing fireworks during Raya)

Back to the story, I somehow managed to grab the Lego that I want (seriously lucky that time), and going to pay, but the shop owner really know how to do arrangement inside his shop. They put rope where, ok, to make it easy, you need to line up to pay and they can exactly make sure only first 100 customers entitled for that 50% discounts.

 This is inside the shop. Yeah, kind of hot too (due to many people inside, 200 people I think?)

After waiting for almost hour, then its my turn to pay, where I found out that I'm number 127. God knows how freakin panic me that time because I bring money exactly the amount after discounted 50%. Plus minus around that number I mean. I ask the counter girls "no more 50%? Do I need to pay full now?". She said "Nope, the next 100 customers entitled for 40%". Thank God!! Praise to you o Allah. I still have enough money to pay for 40% discounted price.

But seriously this shop is damn awesome! Got lot of toys inside! I can spent lot of time here just by looking around :D

Having a Lego is cool, despite my age now. Hahahaha~! I will, and will buy more and make it as my new collection! Btw, I do have few collections, I think I wrote about it somewhere in 2009, so search by yourself again, I lazy to put the link here :P

So far as I remember, I had been called by numerous nickname. Aliff, Alep, Ayep, Neo (seriously got people call me like this for certain period of time, 2 years I think), John (connsider this my English name), Are Lep, Are Lift, AO . . . .

I'm Sorry I'm Busy ~!

Yeah yeah yeah I know no need to repeat it. I know I know it's been a long time since I update my blog. Damn it I just don't have enough time!! Everyday got lot of works to do!!! and and and . . . girls that I need to "kacau"!!! God 24 hours per day really not enough for me!!! Aaaaa!!

Even take picture now already become my unofficial task whenever got event! Why? Coz they said I'm good in taking pic, grrrr . . .

Ok, for the sake of updating my blog, here let me show you a picture of mine. Last week my dept got team building. Well, as one of committee who very dedicated to make sure the event run smooth, I also make sure my self well prepared during finale night, which is a dinner with theme "Rocker's Night!". 

 Might be the only time I can make my hair long :P
